Help & FAQ
Quick answers about Kingdom 316. In the app, you’ll also find help under Settings > Help center.
Getting started
Who can join Kingdom 316?
Anyone 16 or older. We ask for your birthday when you sign up — it’s never shown on your profile. If you’re 16 or 17, you get a teen account with extra protections until you turn 18.
How do I sign up or log in?
With your phone number or email. We send you a 6-digit code — type it in and you’re in. No password needed. Phone numbers start with your country code, like +1 or +256.
Can I use a password instead of a code?
Yes. Go to Settings > Account > Password to create one. Then you can log in with your phone, email or username and your password. Codes still work too. For extra security, turn on two-factor authentication in Settings > Account (authenticator app or text message).
Which languages does Kingdom 316 speak?
English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Russian and Swahili. The app follows your phone’s language, and you can change it any time in Settings > Language. This website has the same 8 languages in the language menu.
Your account & privacy
How do I make my account private?
Go to Settings > Private account. Only people you approve can follow you and see your posts.
Who can message me?
You choose in Settings > Who can message me: Everyone, Friends or No one. New accounts start with Friends.
What’s the difference between block, mute and restrict?
Open their profile and tap the three dots. Block: they can’t find your profile, see your posts or prayer requests, message you or add you to a circle. Mute: their posts and stories are hidden from you. Restrict: their comments on your posts need your approval, and their messages go to your requests. They’re never told. Manage blocked people in Settings > Blocked accounts.
How do I download my data?
Go to Settings > Account > Download your data. We email you a download link with your posts, prayer requests, messages and profile info, usually within 48 hours. The link works for 4 days. You can ask once a day.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings > Account > Delete account. Your profile, posts, prayer requests and messages are removed. You have 30 days to change your mind by logging back in — after that it’s permanent. Just need a break? Deactivate account hides your profile until you log back in, and nothing is deleted.
Teen accounts
What is a teen account?
Members who are 16 or 17 get a teen account with extra protections. They lift automatically on your 18th birthday. You can see yours in Settings > Teen account.
What’s always on for teens?
Until you turn 18: only friends can message you, we don’t suggest your account to people you don’t know, nobody can download your videos, and you can’t host personal live streams (you can still watch lives and help your church’s page go live). These can’t be turned off.
Which settings start safer?
A teen account starts private, with comments and mentions from friends only, sensitive content hidden, quiet hours from 10 PM to 7 AM and a screen-time reminder after 1 hour. You can change these any time in Settings.
Is a teen’s profile shown on the web?
No. When someone opens a link to a teen’s profile without logging in, they only see the name, username and photo — and teens’ posts are never shown on public web pages. A teen’s city is only shown to their friends.
What if something feels wrong?
Tell a parent, a youth leader or another adult you trust. You can block and report anyone — they won’t know it was you.
Posting
How long can my videos be?
Up to 3 minutes when you record in the app’s camera (15 seconds, 60 seconds or 3 minutes). Up to 10 minutes when you upload a video from your phone (max 200 MB).
Can I post photos?
Yes — one photo, or up to 10 in a single post that people swipe through. Each photo can be up to 15 MB.
How do stories work?
Share a photo, a video up to 60 seconds or text to your story. Your friends and followers can see it, and it disappears after 24 hours.
What’s a vibe?
An optional tag on your post — like Laugh, Worship or Music — that helps people find it when they browse by mood. You don’t have to pick one.
How do prayer requests work?
You choose who sees each request: everyone, your friends or your prayer circles (set the default in Settings > Who can see my prayer requests). People tap “I prayed” so you know they did. Public requests can be anonymous: your name, photo and username are hidden from everyone, even friends. Kingdom 316 can still see who posted, to keep people safe.
Who can go live?
The admins and media team of a verified church, ministry or creator page. Adults (18+) can also go live on their own account once it’s at least 7 days old. Teen accounts can’t host personal lives.
Safety & reporting
How do I report something?
Tap the three dots on a post, comment, story, live, message or profile and choose Report. In a group chat you can report the whole conversation. Reports are anonymous — the person is never told who reported them.
What happens after I report?
Our safety team reviews it against our Community Guidelines. You can follow it in Settings > Account status, under Your reports — you’ll see whether we took action.
Something of mine was removed. Can I appeal?
Yes. Settings > Account status shows what was removed or limited and why. Tap “Ask us to take another look” within 30 days. A person on our team reviews every appeal.
Someone is in crisis. What do I do?
If someone is in immediate danger, call your local emergency number now. In the app, Settings > Crisis resources shows a free helpline for your country, and you can find one at findahelpline.com. You can also report the post so our team can reach out.
Churches
What is a church page?
Your church’s official home on Kingdom 316: live services, saved sermons, events with RSVPs, announcements, a prayer wall and a members list. Members can join it from the page, or in Settings > Church membership.
How do I get my church on Kingdom 316?
If you help run it, tap Create > Create a Page in the app and choose Church — you become the page’s admin and can add your team. Already a page someone else made? Tap “Request to claim” — our team checks every claim before handing over a page. Churches can also apply to be one of the Founding 100 here: Apply as a Founding Church — free.
How does verification work?
From your page, ask for the verified badge: by email at your church’s own domain, by a phone call to its public number, or with an official document. Our team reviews it. Verified pages get the badge and can go live; until then there’s no badge, no Go Live, and churches can’t join the Founding 100.
What is Church Studio?
Church Studio is where your church team runs its page from a computer. Log in with your own Kingdom 316 account. Admins can do everything; everyone else sees the parts for their role — like lives and sermons for the media team, or the private prayer inbox for the prayer team.
